The definitive shape of the Thomas Crapper Throne seat was popular from the 1880’s to beyond the Great War. It is a large seat and is extremely comfortable, made in Britain from solid wood, it is so impressive that it is almost a piece of furniture. This style is an exact reproduction of one of the original seats Thomas Crapper have in their product archive. It is complete with the up stands and pipe-cover as supplied with the very best Victorian and Edwardian examples.
We recommend the use of our decorative seat brackets to support the seat when installed. Thomas Crapper Throne Seat is available in a choice of Oak, Mahogany or Walnut timbers, together with a selection of painted options. They are supplied with a choice of Polished brass or Silver coloured hinges.
Please note : The silver coloured hinges are designed to complement Chrome or Nickel plated bathroom fittings.
